20-Game Hitting Streak for Castillo Thursday, July 30th , 2048 Nobody has been able to shut down Portland Lumberjacks right fielder Fernando Castillo in recent days. The Long Beach Surfers fared no better than the rest. Today at The Trail in Multnomah, Castillo picked up 4 hits in 7 at-bats en route to a 8-7 Lumberjacks victory. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Fernando Castillo singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 10th and grounded out in the 12th.
