Chilis End Rudge's Streak Sunday, May 17th , 2048 Lady Luck was not on the side of Tom Rudge or his teammates today at The Church of All-Inclusive Stadium. Everything went the way of the El Paso Chilis, who not only came away with the 3-1 victory over Las Vegas, but also held Rudge hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 21-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Rudge said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Currently Rudge is batting .329 with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. |
