Long Beach Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 8th , 2047 They have certainly not struck fear into the hearts of any other Brewster Baseball Association teams this season and as of today the Long Beach Surfers are officially out of the race for the postseason. Long Beach last appeared in the postseason in 2045. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 33 times in their 53 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Surfers have missed the playoffs 5 times. Long Beach last won the Monty Brewster Memorial Series in 2029. |
