Rookie Pitcher Reels in JL Award Sunday, September 1st , 2047 Kyle Smallwood put on quite a show in the Johnson League throughout the month of August and walked off with the Rookie of the Month Award. In 5 starting appearances, he had a record of 3-1 with some solid stats for Charlotte. He chalked up a 3.74 ERA in 33.2 innings, struck out 37 and allowed the opposition to hit .228 against him. To date this season Smallwood is 15-5 with 26 starts and an ERA of 3.07 with 203 strikeouts in 161.1 innings. |
