Omaha Swaps Kelly to Long Beach for Barrera Sunday, August 25th , 2047 Trade winds have been blowing through Omaha. This time, a deal has materialized between the Cyclones and Surfers. According to sources inside the organization, Omaha will ship 26-year old RHP Terrence Kelly to Long Beach for 29-year old RHP Renato Lacerda and 31-year old 3B Mario Barrera. Long Beach will retain a portion of Lacerda's remaining contract. This season Kelly has made 25 relief appearances with no saves. In 85 innings he has fanned 50 hitters and recorded 4 wins and 3 losses with a 5.08 ERA. This year Barrera has hit at a .232 clip with 46 RBIs, 12 home runs and 42 runs scored. |
