Trade: Hamon for Ríos Sunday, August 25th , 2047 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Mexico City Aztecs and the Charm City Jimmies. In the deal Mexico City got 26-year old RHP Mauro Ríos from Charm City and dealt 27-year old LF Jean-François Hamon to the Jimmies. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." This season Hamon is hitting .247 with 95 hits, 20 home runs, 56 RBIs, scored 53 runs and played in 113 games. This season-to-date Ríos has 8 wins and 9 losses and a 5.00 ERA. |
