Calgary's Trinidad to Miss Season Friday, August 23rd , 2047 The season is apparently over for Alfonso Trinidad. The Calgary Pioneers medical staff informed the club that the third baseman will be out at least 8 months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Trinidad was hurt in the game against Las Vegas while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Trinidad is hitting at a .316 mark this season. His stats show 17 home runs, 87 RBIs and 61 runs scored. He has played 122 games for the Pioneers. |
