Long Beach, Vancouver Make Trade Sunday, August 18th , 2047 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Long Beach Surfers and Vancouver Mounties has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 31-year old RHP Edwin Gilliam to Vancouver in return for 22-year old minor league RHP Enrique Serrano. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. On the season Gilliam has a 4-11 record with a 5.20 ERA. |
