Zhào's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games

Bing-de Zhào has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 27-year-old Rockville Pikemen first baseman extended his streak today to 20 games, going 1-for-4 as Rockville got the best of the El Paso Chilis at Owen's Ordinary, 3-1.
"Bing-de has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Pikemen manager Denny Dooley said. Bing-de Zhào struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
Looking at his present stats, Zhào has compiled a .342 batting average in 111 games with a .455 on-base percentage, while hitting 22 home runs and driving in 72 runs.
