Louisville Loses Simonnet for Year Tuesday, July 30th , 2047 When Thierry Simonnet was hurt against the Madison Wolves, the Louisville Sluggers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 30-year-old reliever suffered a ruptured disc throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Simonnet would miss 7 months of the season. This year Simonnet has made 23 relief appearances with 4 saves. In 16 innings, he has permitted 17 hits, fanned 27 hitters and recorded 1 win and no losses with a 7.31 ERA. |
