Ordóñez Batters Valencia for 5 Hits Friday, July 26th , 2047 The Valencia Stars might think twice next time about pitching to Orlando Ordóñez. At Dunn Field today, the Omaha Cyclones center fielder burned Valencia pitching, going 5-for-5 in a 8-0 Omaha triumph. "When he's on his game," Omaha skipper William Cole told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Orlando Ordóñez doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Micheal Dixon in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
