River Monsters End Arredondo's Streak Thursday, July 18th , 2047 Francisco Arredondo's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 22 games today as the Sacramento Mad Popes dropped their contest with the Twin Cities River Monsters 11-3 at The Basilica at Muskrat Slough. Arredondo failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Arredondo spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In 86 games this year Arredondo has posted a .262 average and put up these numbers: 13 home runs, 39 RBIs and 48 runs scored. |
