Pioneers Lose Taub for Season Tuesday, July 16th , 2047 Stephen Taub has to call it a season. The Calgary Pioneers reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Jacksonville Hurricanes and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Taub was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn back muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. Taub's record so far this season is 3-and-1 with no saves and a 2.98 ERA. He has given up 36 hits in 42.1 innings with 44 strikeouts. |
