Mendoza Goes on Rampage Against Mounties Thursday, June 20th , 2047 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Nashville's 8-5 win over Vancouver today, right fielder Pedro Mendoza was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Northwoods Outpost. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Mendoza said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Pedro Mendoza flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Miguel Ayala in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, singled in the 12th, walked in the 14th and hit an RBI single in the 15th.
