 | Year Over for Kernels Hashimoto Monday, September 3rd, 2046 Tsunesaburo Hashimoto will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Des Moines starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Hashimoto was injured while throwing a pitch in the Kernels-Stars clash at Edward Murphy Memorial Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 14 months. Checking out his stats for the season, Hashimoto has racked up 5 wins and 14 losses in 27 starts, 5.70 ERA and struck out 80 batters in 154.2 innings. |   |
