League Gives Altaner and López 4-Game Suspensions
Thursday, August 30th, 2046
Baseball confrontations occasionally get intense and sometimes that tension becomes too much and boils over into more than just words. This time it happened to Louisville's Otto Altaner and Hawaii's Felipe López. The two were the main participants in a fight that cleared the benches. Today both were suspended by the league for 4 games for their aggressive actions.

"I hope things settle down now," the manager of the Tropics said later. "There's no reason for us to be locked in a cycle of revenge. We all need to focus on baseball instead."

Looking at his present stats, Altaner has compiled a .318 batting average in 100 games with a .363 on-base percentage, while hitting 11 home runs and driving in 44 runs.

To this point in the season, López has 2 saves in 67 relief appearances with a 4-5 mark and 3.61 ERA. He has 75 strikeouts in 89.2 innings with 18 walks.
