 | Kernels Mathematically Out of Playoffs Thursday, August 30th, 2046 The 2046 season has hardly been a memorable one for the Des Moines Kernels and now fans must deal with the fact that the club has been officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Kernels have missed the playoffs 44 times in their 51 years as a Brewster Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 38th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2007. Des Moines last won the Monty Brewster Memorial Series in 2007. |   |
