The Long Beach Surfers have sent 27-year-old C António Ruíz and 25-year-old LHP Bron Cortez to the Seattle Storm for 23-year-old minor league CF Josh Mesh, 23-year-old minor league RF Mike O'Hanly, 18-year-old minor league RHP Robinson Pérez, 20-year-old minor league C Joe Zwicker and 33-year-old RHP Ken Walter. Currently Ruíz is batting .213 with 6 home runs and 38 RBIs. In 26 starts this year Walter has posted 9 wins while suffering 8 losses. He has pitched 144.2 innings, allowed 148 hits, struck out 85 and has a 4.17 ERA. |   |
