 | Vega Joins Kings of Clout with #300 Thursday, August 16th, 2046 The Brooklyn Robins had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 11-3 decision to Montreal. The reason -- the splendid slugger Felipe Vega hit his 300th career homer in today's contest at Ubisoft Field. "I'm fortunate to be here," Vega told the media after the game. "The Robins have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #300 was for them." In his career Vega is batting .306 with 1290 hits, 260 doubles, 6 triples and 300 home runs.
