 | FL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Wednesday, August 1st, 2046 Pedro Martínez's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Seattle first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .306 with 5 doubles, 3 triples and 4 home runs. Martínez also scored 17 times and drove in 14 runs. Currently Martínez is batting .268 with 19 home runs and 56 RBIs. |   |
