 | Johnson League Names Rookie of Month Tuesday, August 1st, 2045 Carlos Fernández's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Las Vegas second baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .263 with 2 doubles, 2 triples and 6 home runs. Fernández also scored 18 times and drove in 19 runs. This season Fernández is batting .285 with 101 hits, 17 home runs, 56 RBIs, .383 OBP and has scored 52 runs. |   |
