 | Charlotte Cougars Ship Cervantes to Louisville Monday, March 13th, 2045 The Cougars and Sluggers pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 18-year-old minor league LHP Juan Cervantes, 16-year-old minor league 3B Tai Ts'ai and 16-year-old minor league CF Ragheb Burhan head to Louisville in exchange for 23-year-old RHP Andresa Pires and 25-year-old LHP Manuel Pacheco. A source close to Charlotte officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." During his career Pires has appeared in 233 games, logging 416.2 innings with 482 strikeouts. He has carved out a 3.46 ERA with 29 wins and 14 losses and posted 31 saves. |   |
