 | Hurricanes Stop L'Archibudelli at 26 Thursday, June 13th, 2041 Girolamo L'Archibudelli's 26-game hitting streak was snapped today at The Casino by Moe Fugger. The 20-year-old Las Vegas Hustlers left fielder failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats in the game against the Jacksonville Hurricanes, but Las Vegas came out the winner, 3-1. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Girolamo," Hustlers manager Edward Allen said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames." So far on the season L'Archibudelli is hitting .391 with 2 home runs, 32 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 81 hits and played in 50 games. |   |
