Sacramento and San Fernando duked it out and the Mad Popes came out victorious.

The 6-5 Sacramento win over San Fernando was due largely to Unem Ploid. The Mad Popes first baseman went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The first-place Mad Popes improved to 83-50.

One of the clutch hits for Sacramento came from one of their biggest talents. In the top of the seventh with two out, Okyay Nisancî, who finished 3rd in the FL in batting average with .348 in 2050, hit a 2-run single to put the Mad Popes up, 5-3. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Nisancî told the Sacramento Gazette.
