Munyiga Delivers Walk-Off Win for Krill
|
The Bikini Krill scored a tight 4-3 win versus the Long Beach Surfers at Forever Field. Bikini pitcher Samuel Nebraska held his own in the contest. With the win over Long Beach, the Krill improved to 57-68.
The Krill relied on left fielder Tony Munyiga for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"Our team showed some spunk," said Munyiga.
