Oysters Win 6-5 Walk-Off

The Rocky Mountain Oysters and Rockville Pikemen obliged fans looking for a good time.
The Rocky Mountain Oysters withstood an impressive performance by Rockville third baseman César Rodríguez to defeat the Pikemen, 6-5, at Smashburger Field. Rodríguez went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The winner in relief was Arthur Dunn. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 2-3.
Federico Linares was the walk-off hero for Rocky Mountain. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Oysters left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Linares said.
With the victory, the Oysters record now stands at 26-23.
