Molina Smacks 5 Hits for Talons
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for José Molina today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Monkeys Stadium and paced the Talons to a 10-0 win over the Aurora Bullfrogs.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Traverse City second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. José Molina singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Wilson Becerra in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and walked in a run in the 9th.

So far this season Molina is batting .488 with 3 home runs.
