Yellow Springs Tops Twin Cities, 4-1

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Yellow Springs Nine starter Brody Picot was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Twin Cities River Monsters, 4-1. Picot, now 3-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 1 run.
Yellow Springs used a well-timed hit by Nazeeh Ragheb to capture the win. The right fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Nine ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We had a good game plan," Picot said, "and we were able to execute it."
With the win, Yellow Springs has a record of 18-23. Twin Cities falls to 19-22.
