Ober Slugs Gamblers to 9-6 Win
Atlantic City first baseman Tyler Ober helped his team beat the Rockville Pikemen, 9-6. Ober, who finished 2nd in the FL in on-base percentage with .414 in 2049, went 2 for 3 for the Gamblers. Nick Clark got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. The Pikemen fall to 11-16 and continue their lackluster start in 2058.

Ober had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 0-2 cutter from Hikaru Kobayashi, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Gamblers a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Ober.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ober. "And not try to do too much."
