Boise Sunk by San Antonio, 3-1
|
Getting an impressive start from Sakutaro Kawano, San Antonio beat Boise by the score of 3-1. San Antonio goes to 15-11.
San Antonio second baseman Jeremy Owbridge contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a curveball into right-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 20th hit of the season and put the Outlaws ahead, 2-1.
Kawano called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
