Sacramento Bats Go Silent in 5-0 Loss
The Bikini Krill defeated the Sacramento Mad Popes, 5-0, at Forever Field today. Leading the charge for Bikini was left fielder Gilberto Falchonelli. He was 1-3 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Adrián Fox, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits. The loss drops Sacramento to 13-10.

The Krill got a big at-bat from third baseman Run-ming Gui. For the game, Gui was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Bikini a 2-0 lead.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Fernando Pacheco.
