Pioneers Get 9-5 Win Versus Austin
The Calgary Pioneers stopped the Austin Shredders, 9-5, behind an impressive performance from Michael Little. The two-time All-Star made life miserable for Austin pitching. He went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Liberio Rosas went 7.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. The right-hander, who is rated as the 66th best prospect by BNN, struck out 4 and walked 1. With the win, he's now 2-1 this season. The Shredders, now 8-14, continue their slow start.
