Ubaydah Kareef got the glory and the headlines today, but the Pasco Platypus left with the win. The Richmond first baseman easily handled the Platypus pitching, going 5-for-5, but his Richmond Panthers came out on the short end of the 13-10 score.

Kareef told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win.

"Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end."

Ubaydah Kareef doubled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This year Kareef has hit 2 home runs and posted a .253 batting average.
