Dillard Bashes 5 Base Hits
|
Jason Dillard said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Monkey House, and it showed in the box score. The South Bend right fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Salt Lake City Alpines, leading his club to victory, 8-1.
"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Dillard said later."
Jason Dillard singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
