Wallace Hittin' on All Cylinders
At Ginny Dyer Park today, Eugene Wallace led Tucson to a 11-8 victory over the Black Hills Rally by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats.

"Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Wallace said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases."

In addition to going 4-for-5, Wallace chalked up 4 RBI and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance.

Eugene Wallace doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Rafael Taboada in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.

This season Wallace has hit at a .267 clip with 16 RBIs, 5 home runs and 17 runs scored.
