Ferretti Now 2-0 After Subduing Mounties
|
In a low-scoring clash between San Fernando and Vancouver, pitcher Fernando Ferretti was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned accolades in the 2-0 win. The loss has the Mounties at 7-6.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Ferretti, who tallied 4 strikeouts in 7 innings and allowed only 2 hits. Ferretti, who finished 2nd in the FL in wins with 17 last year, raised his record to 2-0 on the year with 9 strikeouts.
Ferretti said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
