After their 7-2 win today at Ballpark of Toledo HS over the Merrill Lynch Bulls, the IBM Machines will advance to the Round 3. IBM won the series by a 4-1 margin.

Leading the way for the Machines was left fielder Francisco Hernández, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.

"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."

The IBM Machines don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Union Carbide Dows - Intelligrated Tigers series. Intelligrated leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 3 is scheduled to begin on March 10th , 2059.
