All went well for Nasih bin Amid of the Lagos Wreckers as he pitched his team to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Johannesburg Freedom, limiting them to 5 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about bin Amid on the day.

"Nasih's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Wreckers manager Javier Zaragoza. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."

In the contest, the Lagos left-hander rang up 14 and surrendered 1 walk.

"He didn't give us any second chances," said Freedom manager Daniel Clymo. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
