Badal Saloni put the Merrill Lynch Bulls on his shoulders as they downed the Nintendo Bros. in the Round 1.

Merrill Lynch won the deciding game by a 4-2 count at Salty Dogs Ballpark and wrapped up the series 4-2.

Saloni played a key role in the victory, as he was named series MVP for his offensive output, which included a .423 batting average with a .483 on-base percentage, 4 home runs, 6 RBI and 9 runs scored.

"I told myself it was time to step it up and help the team win and I'm glad I was able to do that," he said.

The Merrill Lynch Bulls will play against the IBM Machines in the next round. IBM won their series against the MGM Gamblers 4 games to 1. The Round 2 is scheduled to begin on February 28th , 2059.
