Spuds Improve to 43-34 with 4-2 Win
|
The Boise Spuds got a stellar performance from pitcher Jeremy Nickerson, who handcuffed the Atlantic City offense en route to a win, 4-2, at The Ballpark at Bally's. The losing streak for Atlantic City has now reached 4 games.
Boise grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Marcello Custello delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Spuds.
"It was a solid team effort," said Nickerson after the game.
