Omaha second baseman Pedro Gongora contributed to his team's 8-2 win over the San Fernando Bears. Gongora, who is a two-time Yogi Zimmer Diamond Glove Award winner, went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cyclones. Jae-ho Chang earned the save for Omaha, his 2nd of the year. The second-place Cyclones have won 4 in a row.

Gongora contributed a big hit, a 2-run triple, for Omaha in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-1, Gongora took a curveball from Arnold Cantrell and stroked the triple to right. His 2nd triple of the season allowed the Cyclones to leap in front, 3-2.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Gongora.
