Loss to Blazers Extends Atlantic City Losing Streak
The Montreal Blazers got a magnificent effort from pitcher Ricardo Negrete, who kept Atlantic City hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Blazers win at Ubisoft Field. Montreal reliever Adam Bristcoe picked up the win, raising his record to 6-4. Anthony Jones was tagged with the loss. Aelbehrt Schlöndorff earned his 18th save in 20 chances.

Leonardo Rodríguez aided the Montreal cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4.

"We put together a nice win," Negrete said.

The losses continue to add up for Atlantic City, which has now fallen 10 times in a row.
