Long Beach Surfers starter Franklin Badger was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Sacramento Mad Popes, 5-2. In 6 innings, Badger surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The save went to Owen McKelvey, his 15th this season.
