Mendoza goes 3-for-5, Leads Cyclones to Win
The Madison Wolves and Omaha Cyclones provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Omaha Cyclones bested the Madison Wolves, 10-9, at Shotz Stadium. Luis Mendoza was one of the standouts. He was 3 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Omaha reliever Sam Landry picked up the win, upping his record to 7-3. Wesley Turner absorbed the loss.

Mendoza had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 cutter from Wesley Turner, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Cyclones a 10-9 lead. It was the 25th home run of the year for Mendoza.

"Ugly win or not, we'll take it," said Mendoza.

The Wolves, at 63-80, have lost 5 straight games.
