Crawdads Suffer 5-1 Setback
|
The Stockyard was the site for Johnson League action featuring the New Orleans Crawdads and Calgary Pioneers.
Calgary got an elite performance from starting pitcher Mitch Bond in taking a 5-1 decision over the New Orleans Crawdads. With the victory, the Pioneers upped their record to 35-29.
Calgary grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Resurrection Santos III delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Pioneers.
"I had everything working," said Bond.
