On a Roll: Graves Hits for Cycle Saturday, January 25th , 2059 Mitch Graves punished the Pepsi Generation, leading the Machines to a win, 25-2. In doing so, Graves hit for the cycle, tagging the Generation for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the POS Portal right fielder said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes." Graves also had 6 RBI and 4 runs scored in the game at Ballpark of Spokane HS. Mitch Graves hit an RBI triple in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Davis Hoffman in the 8th.
